I just returned from a family visit to my wifes father where I chanced upon my wifes fathers KVK2, awarded in 1944 for "catastrophy management" during air raids over Munich...

So here are here Great Grandfather, Maternal Grandfathers and Paternal Grandfathers....

Strangely enough no. For the Greatfrandfather just the Wehrpass entry, for the Maternal Grandfather, almost all his docs, but not this one (just Soldbuch entry), and for the Patenal one his Wehrpass is empty, but just an entry on his denazification papers that he had it, and when we were leaving today I happened to see the ribbon poking out of a dish on a bookshelf, so I managed to get it.
