JapanX Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Remember this thread? http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/55557-navy-proficiency-badges-how-were-they-worn/ and this question If a person had several proficiency badges, were there regulations stating which ones to wear? Well, here comes another photo evidence Thanks a lot Shimbu!!!
Ulsterman Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Well, was it legal? That is a wonderful photo.
JapanX Posted January 24, 2013 Author Posted January 24, 2013 Well, was it legal? Well, this guy sure looks pretty confident wearing all three badges simultaneously ... He even made some "device" to wear them together (although it isn't really working well ) Looks like we are dealing with "Field Artillery Gun Sight Badge" Most likely three different classes of this badge ...
JapanX Posted January 24, 2013 Author Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) Or are these "Field Artillery Rapid Firing Badges"? Go figure ... Edited January 24, 2013 by JapanX

kaigunair Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Wow, great photo evidence for wearing of both 1st and 2nd class navy badges. You have a keen eye!
JapanX Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 Check out this cavalier of "Bayonet Skills" badges!
Paul R Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I am taking a course on Japanese history now. I wonder why the Japanese proficiency badges are so hard to find?
JapanX Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 I think the main reason - very tough requirements for getting one
Paul R Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Is there something published that illustrates these requirements?
JapanX Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 Unfortunately the exact requirements for army proficiency badges are still unknown to us. Only same basic info about navy proficiency badges ...
JapanX Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 Recetly good friend of mine gave me a batch of photos as a present. Among them was this group photo. At first sight nothing special.
