dedehansen Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 Hello Gentlemen, a german collector friend told me, that this is the Hungerian order of merit knights cross with swords. He also told me, that there exits a book from Felszeghy were he mention this order, the title is from 1943 A Rendjelek es Kitüntetesek Törtenelmünbken. Does someone have this book an could please tell me further information ?! Regads Andreas

hunyadi Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Nope - dont have the book - I would also love to have the box! And the Order! Very nice item! Can you share any more information about the recipient? This is of course a combat award so he would have been attached to or near a Hungarian unit during either the Balkan campaign or the Don River Front slaughter....
