Hoss
Here's some gear I like to consider assault troop the long knife I picked awhile back it was the scarce scabbard really wanted, a quick note on crank knives they had a double 'bayonet spring' in the sheath to firmly retain the weapon a lot of lighter other knives don't have this, I was unsure on the boot cleats until I saw on line period pictures soldiers wearing them. Chris the gun is from the Verdun area. The shovels I've often wondered if some unit order made them cut the regular long so it doesn't protrude over the head line many pictures show this if it didn't have a shorter shaft. The little belt pouch is probably for the guys car keys Eric Edited March 9, 2013 by Hoss
