Chris Boonzaier Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 As most of my tunics are officers anyway.... I was happy to get this... it is the 2nd one i have seen.... I dont know if there was an official approved one, but this one was a more or less local attic find....
Chris Boonzaier Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 Being an officer, there is just enough room for the essentials... maybe a tunic and a tooth brush....

Hoss Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) Hi, private purchase I am sure. Best Chris Chris Been researching your pack issue for dismounted Officers in june '14 Prussia introduced another model Bavaria feb '15 slightly different also had the front equipment hook straps.I guess their main gripe was it sliding around on their backs. During the war they had a choice and could use the regular pack if preferred. Cool man Edited March 30, 2013 by Hoss
