Dolf Posted July 29, 2006 Author Posted July 29, 2006 One more, an American one, I simply can't remember what it is! Dolf
Mondvor Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 (edited) Dolf, very nice collection of aircrafts. The last one, I beleive, is Curtiss SON-1 Seagull.Check two pictures. Second one - is exact prototype of your model, it has same number. Edited July 30, 2006 by Mondvor
Dolf Posted July 30, 2006 Author Posted July 30, 2006 (edited) Andrew,All right, thanks a lot I thought it was a Curtiss, but was not sure and didn't feel like searching in those boxes for the building instructions (I believe I keep them all ). A Seagull, right, now it rings a bell Thanks a lot for the pics and the ID Dolf PS: Oh yes, the 2nd aircraft is indeed the same as my model, wow! I believe the rear wheel is missing on my model and there is also another detail that doesn't match with the real one, a kind of "stick" that is between both left wings on my model but appears to be between the right wings on the real one.Ok, time to watch a new episode of "Taken", I love alien stories Many thanks!
