what do you think about this silver badge?

i can not find information..

i am curious to know if is real or fake, if it is a badge of navy, or simply a badge for veterans and retirees,

some unofficial badge from private association, and what value can have.

All I can say to is that it was issued by some organization "Union of Wаrriors of submarine force of Russia" based in St.Petersburg for "For concern (old style радение is closer to zeal) to the marine affaire"

Never heard about such org (maybe guys from faleristika will recognize this organization? ).

The only submarine veterans organization that is known to me in St.Petersburg is this one

This badge of course unofficial award.

But piece looks really nice!

Mint quality!

And judging by the number (looks like laser engraving to me ) - there are not many of them around!

P.S. About marks.

According to the assay mark this piece was made in North-West region of Russia (bears letter Л for North-West assay inspection) in 925 silver by unknown (at least to me) manufacturer ИЛМД.

Strangest thing ever is different mark on suspension which I believe reads as СпМД, i.e. St.Peterburg Mint.
