coastie
Allegedly......... Not mine, no, no, no.Just curious as the engraving looks suspectThe first alarm bell is that this is made by HLP and they didn't have a Government contract during the war. This maybe one of the"Back Door" MoH's sold during the 80's.Now I don't know if replacement medals are given to the recipient engraved or not.Just looked on line and the award to Nicholas Minue was posthumous...hmmm! Ed_Haynes
I'd guess this is a fraudulently engraved HLP "stolen" medal.
Stogieman
The whole thing just didn't seem right to me. I have never seen engraving like that. The HLP and no ribbon didn't sit well either.
bigjarofwasps
Just out of interest, how easy/hard are MOH to get hold of? Are modern ones named? Anyone konw where I could get hold of a modern one from?
