Short, concrete description of his feat of arms or merits:

Serving as a wagon driver in the medical battalions supply platoon, comrade Karmazin showed himself an indefatigable toiler. He keeps the horses in exemplary condition. He ensures that water and firewood are delivered in a timely manner.

During the offensive from the Dnieper toward Odessa, comrade Karmazins wagon, which is always ready for combat, was the medical battalions only transport vehicle. In muddy and roadless terrain it was used to transport medical equipment necessary to provide medical assistance to the wounded at the forward medical post.

In the past comrade Karmazin was wounded while carrying out a combat mission near Rostov in 1942.

For his selfless efforts to provide medical assistance to the wounded and his exemplary performance of duty, he deserves to be awarded the Medal for Combat Merit.
