The heavy set on the right is from Bailey Banks and Biddle From the days when US officers truly were from the privileged class; rank made by jewelers like Tiffany and BBB
dante Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 If I can add to the research of the Tiffany, engraved with the mans name W.C. Miller., William Charles Miller became the Commandant of the Citadel military academy 1926-31 and died in 1935, His WW1 service was with the 27th Infantry in Siberia.
Chris Boonzaier Posted December 17, 2018 Author Posted December 17, 2018 Wow, thats a hit! Goes to show, if you know you are never going to get around to doing research justice on an item... pass it on to someone who will!
Paul R Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Way cool. A Siberia vet too!! I bet he had some stories.
