    Hello everyone, Thank you everyone for your help to this forum and are those insignias, south Lebanese army?

    Here is the pic of everything that I had pick up from the group, everything but the RG uniform.

    The other tab says "Special Forces" (al-Qawaat al-Khaasah")

    Thanks for the in depth explanation Chris. Most likely those tabs were imported into Iraq? Nice lot of insignia Lion. Were they purchased from a vendor or liberated directly?

    It was a vendor purchased, now all my uniform groups were liberated directly.

    Dave is correct, they do say "commandos" (maghawir). There are several Arabic words which translate as commandos and are more widely used. I've only seen the Lebanese Army use the term maghawir.
