    I missed the guys Marine Teller Mütze.. but I did get his 1st prize for a Ruckmarch in Esbjerg in 1944...

    Its a nice LARGE cocktail shaker (Guess they have lots of ice up there...)

    Not sure if I will trade it or use it!!!!

    Notice the missing Umlaut!! And I guess a missing space "1.Sieger" instead of "1. Sieger"

    I guess it was engraved locally.

    Strangly enough won by a Navy guy... even though the army was there!!!

    More Art Nouveau than Art Deco, I'd say...

    The hallmark "DA" and Thors hammer means "Dansk arbejde" ("Danish works") and "Eneret" means "Copyright", so that confirms your theory of locally made.

    "ATLA" means it is silverplated, probably made by silversmith Cohr. The two towers in the last hallmarks also means silverplated.

    Did a little more research...

    Definitely not from 1914. Cohr used the "ATLA" hallmark from 1926, so I guess the "14" is the no. of the pattern of which they claimed to have copyright.

    Put it to use man! Not as efficient as a blender but it it a tool of a more elegant time.
