Chris Boonzaier Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Has anyone seen this before ??? I guess it is for the rain?
Jock Auld Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 (edited) I have seen photos of this before Chris, in ww2/Reichswehr reference. A protective over jacket affair used often on ranges and weapon handling to protect the normal jacket? I may even have a picture somewhere but don't hold your breath. The distinguished looking bloke with the bino's and shooting lanyard, possibly an instructor? Jock Edited June 18, 2014 by Jock Auld
The Prussian Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Hello! They wear the so-called "Brustschutz" (breast-protector?). It was used during manouevres to protect the tunic from dirt and damages
