BURGERHAUS Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Kev, Very interesting group. Would you happen to know what the back of the book says? Thanks for showing this. Robert
BURGERHAUS Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 [attachmentid=30862][attachmentid=30863] Silly me. If I would have read your thread completely I would have known you are still looking for translation. Anyway....vroom vroom
Peter J Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Well, I've contaminated this thread, so I might as well post this lovely Swedish stickpin, but..........
Peter J Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 ...... to make a penance, here's an early sympathizer stickpin KR Peter
Scowen Posted March 15, 2006 Author Posted March 15, 2006 That's better Peter, you can stay I really like these Scandinavian items, I think they are very underated by Third Reich Collectors. If you have more perhaps we could start a seperate thread for them?CheersDon
JNoble Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Robert who is the maker of your RAD stickpin? Here is mine marked C.T.D. is C.Thomas Dicke, L?enscheid
BURGERHAUS Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Hello James, I beleive itis Sieinhauer & Luck Ludenscheid. That is if I read my logos correctly. It looks like the logo on a St. Louis Cardinals baseball player's cap. Robert
BURGERHAUS Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 [attachmentid=31028]On secon thought, it might not be St. & L. My son took my loup to school today for science project. Robert
benten Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 I know, this is not a stickpin. It's a sympathisant's tie-pin or breast-pin. Badge or brooch.... the final result is what was important for the Nazis..... I think it's early because of the hammering design ( Art D?co). Cheers, Benten
BURGERHAUS Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Benten, That's a beauty. Great with a white shirt and black tie. Any engravings on it? Also, if you could show the reverse, I am curious as to what kind of securing device it has. Thanks for showing this to us. Robert
Scowen Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 Indeed a very smart design. Thanks for sharing it with us Benton.CheersDon
benten Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Thank you for your complements gentlemen. Here is the backside.........In my hand I can turn the object to make the picture as I want. I prefer Belgium beer in the winter.......German beer only on hot days. Cheers, Benten
BURGERHAUS Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 [attachmentid=31424] Benten, Very nice and looks professionally done. This custom piece took me quite a while to identify. It came from a dealer as a "homemade industial logo". I just liked the green enamel so I went for it. I posted it on forums and asked around to no avail. Then one day I was casually looking thru my Husken book and lo and behold.......... What do you think? Robert
BURGERHAUS Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 [attachmentid=31426]Now for this. Page 215 ItemC123d
benten Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 BURGERHAUS, till yet I have no idea what it is. Does the Huesken catalogue mention something about this emblem? I've made your picture a bit lighter and post it here, so we can see the nice green enamel; perhaps someone recognizes it Cheers, Benten picture of BURGERHAUS:
Scowen Posted March 20, 2006 Author Posted March 20, 2006 The badge that Robert refers to in H?sken is for the Austrian Heimwehr.CheersDon

Scowen Posted April 8, 2006 Author Posted April 8, 2006 What about this rare beast....... The civil pin for the Germanske SS Norge. Cheers Don
BURGERHAUS Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 [attachmentid=33832][attachmentid=33833] Don, Thank you for bringing this one out to show us all. Would the fact that it has a serial number make it at all possible to research? The silver has tarnished beautifully. Now that is patina!! Do you have any idea how many of these were issued? Now for my rather paltry entry....what I find interesting is that our Mr. Cone states that the bullseye should be red. Have a nice weekend and thanks for showing us allthis rare badge. Also, have these been copied as frequently as other Schutzstaeffel pieces?? Robert
