Organisational Badges Unknown RJA Badge ?

Picked up this small (16mm diameter x 22mm long) RJA badge at the weekend. Unable to find it in Hüskens catalogue or on any military sites, can anyone tell me where it belongs. Any relevant information welcome.

This is the Reichjugendsportsabzeichen. I believe the stickpin version was for boys & the brooch was for girls.

Don is absolutely right. Reichsjugendsportabzeichen für Mädchen.

If you can look at a copy of the Hüsken catalogue for 1999 you will find your item pictured on page 399. item number 71.08b. The value is given as 220DM (110€) Or alternaively, Hüsken - 1993 page 243, item number 1595 (150DM - 75€).

Thanks Don,Östa for the help. I did a google search actual didn't turn up so much information as such, a small number on offer at different sites in 35 - 50€ price range, with the dearest on offer by far, as to be expected, tended by Hüskens 135€.

Hi,

the prices from Hüsken are not realistic.

There had been first a badge without the swastika, since 1925 for boys and since 1928 for girls.

The first name was Reichsjugendabzeichen, later (since 1934?) Reichsjugendsportabzeichen (in books you can find the name Reichssportjugendabzeichen).

Left Reichsjugendabzeichen, middle Reichsjugendsportabzeichen for boys, right Reichsjugendsportabzeichen for girls:
