and a german wearing russian medals.

Nice Russian West-Armee photo. But, I don't believe that's an iron Cross. I believe it's a Teutonic Order.

I´m not sure, but I believe, that there is a crown on the upper cross arm.

I agree, that looks like a crown... and as the other guy is wearing a wound badge, we know they have German awards...
