christerd Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Rare awards dosn´t need to look expensive or even look welldone , some awards are just rare This simple looking medal was only awarded 730 times , less the a Knights Cross w Oakl ..... ( without any further comparsion) This is the Medal of Merit for Frontsmen´s Union of Liberation War , Finland 1918 There was also a Cross of Merit and that is still rarer , only 80 awarded...... But even this medal is very hard to find and it was a nice last finding for 2014 Happy New Year everyone Christer

No , I think there was some sort of organisation for veterans from the 1918 war , but can´t find anything on the net about it. Anybody out here that know anything about the Frontsmen´s Union of Liberation war ? Christer
