New Godet EK1

Here is my new EK1 from Godet.I like it a lot. Don't hesitate to comment.

Textbook mid to late war Godet. Surely cleaned, but it will receive typical deep black patina (as can be seen around the catch) quite quickly.

I love these.... I got my one after it was posted for a very low price on ebay buy it now with terribly bad photos, no mention of a maker.... impossible to see if it was original.... but was cheap enough to take a chance..... I ended up getting copys of some photos and was able to dig up some history.....

A Godet with a story is twice as nice!! I have three of them... here is one with outer carton to Feldwebelleutnant Gebhard of Reserve Infantry Regiment 212.

For you EK experts, the cardboard box may be old hat, but I've not seen one of those before...or if I have, it didn't make an impression at the time...but those have to be scarce.  Thanks for showing.
