I don´t think so, Chris. Pi.Btl.23 was XX.AK, not Garde!

I think the collar Litzen seem to be yellow. They are not so bright as the white in the cocades.

The pipings of the shoulder boards seem to be red or black

I´m not sure of there is a second star for captain or if it is the grenade

I must check later. If I remember correctly, the shoulder boards have 2 color layers, thats why I thought red over black

That´s right, Jens! I forgot that fact....

Pionier-Offiziere didn´t wear Litzen at the 07/10 (only Garde-Pioniere did).

The Bluse 15 had Litzen for all engeneer-officers. A lot of photos exist, where Litzen were sewn-up upon the 07/10.

Those Litzen were grey. So, a Pionier could fit in this case too!

Here I have a photo of Pi.Btl.7. The officer behind the "Havanna" wears those Litzen too
