    Hi all, I have an image of Nickolaus Von Wurtemburg, attached, I can.t identify two medals on his spange, any experts identify them, thanks as usual

    Hi Michael, good spotting I think you're right 1964 war against Denmark, much appreciated, just the other one to sort, ribbon looks different to what I would expect though

    Hi Lambert, the first one, you could be right, the problem I have that neither ribbon matches those posted on my image, they look like solid colours

    Hello Alex,

    I agree, but I believe that is the Red Ribbon for peacetime, it is very common to see this in Austrian Awards.
    I'll see some more.

    Don't forget, Alex, that yellow shows up as black in photos of this period (this has often caught me out). That being the case, it might account for a yellow and black ribbon looking like a solid colour.

    Hi guys, thanks for the additional info, old film peculiarities are reasonably familiar with turning colours the same shade of grey, and I thought about that, the second ribbon COULD be plain red, the ribbon to the officers cross whilst grey does show faint darker stripes, correct for the yellow/black ribbon, interesting cunundrum
