ostprussenmann_new
Nice group. What do you know about him. I see a German Wound Badge in Gold. Did a wound disfigure him and he was let go of service? Would love to hear the story about it. Thanks for sharing.

Stewy Hi Stewy and ostprussenmann_new, it is not necessary, that he has lost an arm/leg or eye, maybe he was wounded several times. I don´t know who made this ISA, but here are some better pictures. stewy
SWB #65 is Klein & Quenzer, Idar/Oberstein GWB #30 is Hauptmunzamt, Wien Stewy If the BWB is marked #32 it's a Wilhelm Hobacher, Wien. Stewy
stewy
As a footnote #32 Hobacher BWB's are seldom encountered, yours definitely is a Hobacher. Congrats, Stewy

Congrats, Stewy Thanks for this info, much appreciated. The BWB seems well worn and repaired. Kind regards Andreas
stewy
Yes Andreas, it's been repaired. I'm not sure the catch isn't a replacement. These usually have either a rounded "C" wire catch or a ? style catch. This looks a flat wire variant. It may be original to the badge, but I can't tell from the pic.
