Very much a beginner when it comes to this kind of research. 

I was looking to find more information on the 1. Garde - Regiment zu Fuss after the start of WW1.  I was hoping that someone could point me in a direction that might lead me to some more information or literature.  I really have no idea where to start looking for this kind of stuff.
