ccj Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Does anyone have aviator uniform items, tunics, coats, flight helmets, etc? please post if you would...
Chris Liontas Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 How you seen Tony's Uniform on Kaiser's Bunker? I don't want to post the photo as I don't have permission, but here is the link http://www.kaisersbunker.com/flieger/
ccj Posted May 1, 2017 Author Posted May 1, 2017 Yes I've seen it and it's terrific. I offered my right arm and a leg for it but Tony has a long term plan for it and it doesn't include me.
Bayern Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Personally I like more ccj uniform . a question . thre are not signs of a oval shield on the left sleeve ?
Chris Liontas Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Did officer's routinely have numbered ovals? I thought that was more an exception rather than rule. I'll post a few that I have photos of tonight.
ccj Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 You may be right. I'm not an expert but thought it was a practice more common early in the war and more often seen on enlisted men. But, I'm here to learn so if anyone knows better I hope to see more information posted.
