found thise miniature along with a other one and the full size medals, but I was wundering what are the "stones"...is it just cut glass or what?

Hi Stuka,

 

Some of the luxury Belgium miniatures are with real stones some are with artificial ones

It is very difficult to say only from the pictures

The best advice is to test them with a jeweler  If you are located in Antwerp there are plenty of them and some of the nicest luxury Belgium miniatures are made there

The mini's are beautiful pieces

I agree with Graf.

I know these pieces with real diamonds / brilliants are quite expensive.
I have never bought it myself, but have been offered several.

I don't reconize cupper from gold, so for diamonds...don't ask me...

...but first opinion might be they are rose cut diamonds...

Yep, they are diamonds.

According to the jeweler, a old type of cuting, and worthless because irrecoverable....
