Hey BalkanCollector,

it is not in any way related to Belgian Congo.

It is one of the rarest WWI "experimental helmets; the Belgian Queen Elisabeth helmet. Between 1,000 and 1,200 were produced by Joseph Sankey & Sons.

Designed by a Beglian physician who wanted to reduce the eye's injuries.

It is the first one I ever knew for sale, and jumped on it.
