Nice photos! I think the second photo is from pre-1982 period so that officer holds the rank of lieutenant colonel.

    Don't mention it :)
Here's a photo of one more soviet People's Hero, Vladimir Sudets. He's wearing Partisan Star 1st class.

    Thanks for the bigger image!

Here's an interesting way of wearing Kingdom and SFRY awards. Order of the Yugoslav Crown, Order of Military Merits with Silver Swords, Order of Merits for the People (possibly with Silver Star), Albanian Commemorative Medal and another medal which I'm unfamiliar with. It's porbably something commemorative.

Here's a video where I've found it. Commemorating of Armistice Day in Paris during the 80's where Serbian Salonica front veterans were representing Serbia as an Ally country.

Switch to 5:08 for the shot of the medals.

Interesting combination, I think the last medal is something related to the "Association for Preserving the Traditions of the Serbian Liberation Wars Until 1918" (Društvo za negovanje tradicija oslobodilačkih ratova Srbije do 1918).

Unknown partisans wearing Soviet and Yugoslav type Commemorative Medal of the Partisan 1941. Also a good example of the same person wearing two different types. I can't identify the badge the person on the left side is wearing at the first photo.

Honestly, I don't know but I doubt it. Maybe it was some kind of an award pin or a pin given to the participants of a certain event.

There were two types of NCO shoulder boards. Those on the photo were introduced in 1946 and I think the other type with stars was used for couple of years during the fifties.

I know about that. I was actually confused because the stripes on the shoulder boards look like the half of them is cut off. Plus I was on my phone during the time I posted my last reply so the resolution wasn't that good.
