    Chris,

Sorry only just seen this post. His Medal Index Card shows his WW1 entitlement as the 1914-15 Star you have, BWM and Victory Medal.

He entered Theatre of War (5a) Asia on 9th December 1915 and served through to disembodiment on 13th June 1919.

It also shows him as  Warrant Officer Class 2 still serving with the Buffs using the Regimental Number 240007.

Will see what else I can find on him and let you know.

    Simon.

A quick check on the BWM and Victory Medal Rolls shows him as WO2 and gives his previous Unit as 1/5th Battalion East Kents which would have been his Unit in 1915, might be worth trying to find the Unit War Diary for the period to see if he is mentioned.

    Simon.

Found the attached stating he left Salonica for demobilization 1/4/19.

The war diaries for the 1/5 The Buffs, I don't have an ancestry subscription so can't view them.

Oops, sorry! That link wasn't right so I've deleted it.:banger:
