    Hi gents,
    Do you know what year it mas manufactured or what years this makers mark was used? It marked with "Sheffield Cast Steel" and letters TPV.
    Any additional information is appreciated.

    Hello, Gauchos are distributed in South Brasil,Uruguay and Argentine Pampas. the gaucho knife is called Facon , great faca, great knife.existed in many varieties , with Sheffield Blades or Solingen Blades or Toledan but also with blades made of every kind of suitable steel. the knife that you shows is a luxus one . appears to be made in silber. grip and sheat, existed others in Alpaca (maillechort ) Curiously the Tombak or the Bronze are not used.
