    Hi gents,

    It is possible to tell what class and type it is? The size is 52 x 91 mm (to the top of the ring, and 85.5 mm to the top of the cross), gilded.

    Also, when it was manufactured?

    May I ask, how do you distinguish between the third and second class if they are the same size? Or the size is different?

    It is well preserved SS III produced by Swiss manufacturer Huguenin freres le Locle.

    Basicaly, medallion is the same for the II and III class, minus the star.

    Manufacturing period is most probably somewhere between 1921/1938.

    Grand Cross/1st Class = Sash badge, Breast Star.

    Grand Officer/2nd Class = Neck Order, Breast Star.

    Commander/3rd Class = Neck Order.

    Officer/4th Class = Gold finish, worn from chest suspended from triangular ribbon.

    Knight/5th Class = Silver finish, worn from chest suspended from triangular ribbon.
