Hope to be acquiring an HSU with Lenin and some documentation very shortly. Now, what is the best way to have research conducted?

Next to the HSU and Lenin there is also an order patriotic war 2nd class awarded on 24th march 1945 in his booklet. The booklet is an official duplikat from '72.

Anyway, I'm rambling on. Nothing to be found on www.warheroes.ru about this guy so it will be interesting what research will dig up.

You might want to verify that the serial numbers do indeed match the recipient's name in the HSUs by serial number book, which I believe someone who has that included in the HSU thread pinned above.

I never got into any of this kind of stuff-- above my pay grade.
