Chris Boonzaier Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Although you often see officers with single claw belts, this particular style was very popular in Bavaria, and especially with Alpenkorps troops...
ccj Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I had one of those but traded away years ago. I wasn’t sure what era it was from. I don’t recall the stamps inside.
motojosh Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Nice buckles. I went this route for my Bavarian officer mannequin, saved quite a bit of money by not having to shell out for one of the subdued painted crown buckles. Here's a steel zweidornkoppel which shows up much less often in photos.
Chris Boonzaier Posted March 22, 2021 Author Posted March 22, 2021 That is nice. When i see Zweidorn I think they must have souvenired a lot of French and Austrian belts.
