Katzenwolfe
I was wondering if anyone had a list of most reserve and ersatz divisions? The highest numbered I've seen is the 459th, but I;m unsure if it was a Reserve or Ersatz Division. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Brandon

Glenn J
Hi Brandon, welcome to the forum. I am not sure where you get a 459th Division from. As far as I am aware, the highest numbered division was the 303. Infanterie-Division (Divisions-Kommando 303) The highest numbered Reserve-Division was Nr. 82 The highest numbered Landwehr-Division was Nr. 85 The highest numbered Ersatz-Division was Nr. 19 Regards Glenn
The Prussian
Hello! Are we talking about 14/18 or 39/45? An Inf.Rgt.459 was raised Jan. 16, 1917 and later Aug. 26, 1939 But we didn´ t had a division by that number. Neither in 14/18, nor in 39/
