Has anybody ever seen a Hilfskreuzer badge with the maker mark 16 on it? Here is a pic of mine. I have not found one anywhere on the net like it. Any help would be appreciated.

and the back of the auxiliary cruiser with mm 16. The front has good detail I believe (shields etc.) and would like opinions on this badge.

Not sure about this one, maybe OK, still looking at hinge, etc. I do not think the 16 had anything to do with MM--if anything, a supply stamp I think

You really need better images than this for evaluation, take a look at Gordon't thread on U-boat badges, that is the type of image you need to provide.

Scanners, which cost around 100 bucks, will do the trick or a decent camera.

I bought all except the coastal artillies from one old German man named Gunther here in Kelowna, BC. He swears they are late war die-castings, but I had my doubts after a while. Unfortunately, he will not refund my money so that is no good. Please check out my posts when I put the new pics for the Blockade, Coastal Art and CCC's.

Being old and being German doesn't mean good stuff. You need to study before you buy or find a dealer with a guarentee that will allow you to return things that are bad.

And post photos here before you buy. A few hundred sets of eyes are always better than one!
