It's not the first model of 1848-1849. This is a later version. Looks good to me, pity about the small damage though.

I agree, I'd date this one around 1900.

Thanks, I wondered why it was so expensive and thought it might be an earlier one as I remember seeing ones selling in the 500-700 range
