BalkanCollector Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 I'm looking for info about this badge. I believe it is a Romanian paratrooper badge but I could use confirmation. Also, any other details such as period would be much appreciated.
Carol I Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Information on this kind of badges is rather scarce, but it is likely not a paratrooper badge (it has no parachute). It would rather be a qualification badge (in this case 1st class) for an aviation specialist in communications from the period 1990-now.
Bayern Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 The Romanian badge for Paratroopers is quite diferent, basically a winged cockade in the National colours topped with a enameled parachute , the wings in silver , it was carried on the left breast above the breast pocket of the tunic and not straight but angled .
