Eduard Moritz von Flies (sometimes written Fliess or Fließ) was ennobled 1864. I haven't found him within the "Genealogisches Taschenbuch der Briefadeligen Häuse" yet.

Gentlemen, when Eduard Moritz von Flies left the army 1868, was he a full Generalleutnant or merely "Charakter als"? Thanks!

he was a full Generalleutnant with a Patent of 20 Sep 66 L. He retired on 7 January 1868.
