azyeoman Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 I came across this on the internet and was wondering if anyone knows anything at all about it. Thanks in advance.
Dave Wilkinson Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Possibly a state police medal of some sort. Dave.
azyeoman Posted March 17, 2023 Author Posted March 17, 2023 Thanks Dave, I was thinking the very same. Cheers, John
Bill Brouillard Jr. Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 New York National/State Guard medal called "Aid to Civil Authorities". I think there were some disturbances that the Governor of NY had to mobilize the State Guard to assist with crowd control. The “Traffic 1945” bar was issued to New York National Guardsmen who were activated in January and February 1945 for service during heavy snowstorms in upstate New York. https://dmna.ny.gov/awards/aid.html Bill
