    My new book.

In the book 27 Turkish war medals, two orders and information on 17 foreign Turkish War Medal producers and retailers, and about 1000 pictures. You will also find new information about wearing medals and orders and their precedence. The Turkish-English digitally printed, colored book has 496 pages and is hardcover. It will be a limited edition of 250 signed copies.

Ottoman-Turkish Medals and Insignia are indeed a completely different world in terms of aesthetics. When you learn about this subject, you understand the collectors who collect medals and orders much better and you enter their magical world.  In every respect, our medals and orders are exceptionally beautiful than the medals and insignia of our peer countries. Of course, there are many valuable works on this subject written by esteemed researchers. However, Mr. Demir Erman, first with his works titled "The Turkish War Medal" and then "Ottoman Turkish War Medals and Orders", has written in a style that will provide all kinds of technical information needed by people who look at medals and orders from the collector's point of view and operate in areas of interest and work such as collectors, museums, historians, antique dealers and auctioneers, and actually ensure the survival and transfer of medals and orders to the next generations. The book titled "Ottoman-Turkish War Medals and Insignia 1801-1923", which was prepared after years of meticulous work, contains all kinds of information and visuals about the form of medals and insignia, their measurements, the metal they are produced from, the ribbons and sashes, their seniority to each other and the methods of wearing them on uniforms according to this seniority. In my opinion, this work, which is a reference book for those interested, will be the last and final one on the path paved by previous works on Ottoman-Turkish Insignia and Medals.
