I am looking for information on a (Major) von Metzsch (first name, date born/died, final rank etc).

At one time he served in Infanterie-Regiment Kronprinz (5. Königlich Sächsisches) Nr. 104.

Received before the war

Kr zu SA3a on 19 July 1909

SA3a on 6 August 1904

DAK in 1904

JohR 1913

 

during the war he received EK2 and EK1

SV3aX (22 November 1914)

 

Between  November 14 and middle of 1915 he was in LIR 102
