Major in Inf. Regt. 31

I am looking for the entry in the regimental history/Offizierstammliste of IR 31 of

Carl Anton v. u.z. Gilsa. He ended his career as a Major in this regiment according to my research so far.

From wich era are you talking about? I couldn´t find him in the ranklist of honour.

Ah I ommited that in my post. Gilsa was born in 1785 and took prussian service in about 1815

Oh, that's pretty early... I don' t have any ranklists of that era.

Yeah I know...its pre-imperial. Some sources extent to the napoleonic wars from 1813 onwards. Hoping for that in this case.

I think this is your man from the regimental history of Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 31. The date of death in the regimental history is incorrect and is correctly shown in the Militär-Wochenblatt as 15 January 1833. Also attached is his entry in the Stammliste of the Russisch-Deutsch Legion.
