Soviet Order of Glory 2nd Class Type 2 "Thin"

Recently aquired from Nota Bene's website - Order of Glory 2nd Class.

Heres the discription:

S/n is 17585 (thin variation). Has moderate wear, enamel is intact, only about 5% of gilt is still present, but unmistakably a 2nd class. Researched to Jr. Sergeant Skrylev, Mikhail Timofeevitch. Awarded in 1945 - for breaking an enemy defense line at Sandomir, crossing the Nida River, and crossing the Order River. With his artillery piece he had destroyed multiple enemy positions, observation posts, machine guns, mortars, etc. Comes with a brief research and translation.

This will be my first medal with any reaserch

The waiting is over the 2nd Class arrived today and the reaserch is facinating ( Iam now a convert to reaserched awrds )
