Stogieman Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 This one went for only 199 Euro, not my favorite mounting but I do believe it’s legit
VtwinVince Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Looks like it was glued as part of a display. But the parts are worth the price of admission.
Stogieman Posted October 25 Author Posted October 25 Unfortunately, looks like this was stripped from a bar, but I believe it’s legit. $228
VtwinVince Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I'm shocked at the prices being paid for a piece of NK EK2 ribbon these days.
Stogieman Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 I watched this one with great interest but missed the end of the auction. Not sure if it can be identified. Condition was excellent. $132
Stogieman Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 (edited) Another interesting bar, went for $162. Thoughts? Edited October 30 by Stogieman

Stogieman Posted November 2 Author Posted November 2 This interesting little mini bar sold on eBay.de for 893-Euro. It looks okay to me but I don’t understand the two different Crown Order Medals? One appears to be silber and on a war ribbon and the other one is gilt and on the statute ribbon? Why? Has anyone ever seen this before? Or, is something been as Rick Research used to say “Little Monkey Fingered”? Your thoughts?
VtwinVince Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Rick, I had a good long look at that bar, it's the KO and RAO medals combo, with one on the war ribbon (rare). But I'm not so sure that this bar is legit, certain things about it have me doubting.
Giannis S. Posted November 3 Posted November 3 A concern is for the Krieger-Verdienstmedaille in second place. With all those Prussian awards, there should be a MEZ2. Also the RAO medal was usually awarded to civilians, and I have never see it on the war ribbon. 1
VtwinVince Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Other things bothered me about that bar, including the minty ribbons and type of thread used. And the combination of awards, of course. 1

Stogieman Posted November 4 Author Posted November 4 Good Morning Gentlemen, thank you all for weighing in. It’s the way we all learn!
Stogieman Posted November 10 Author Posted November 10 This one was interesting, rarely see this version of an HK mounted. 351-Euro
VtwinVince Posted November 10 Posted November 10 I saw that one, pretty cool combo. I have a couple with the Kreuz fuer Eltern und Witwen.
Stogieman Posted November 11 Author Posted November 11 Good Morning Vince, pretty interesting combination, I wonder how that happened!
Stogieman Posted November 12 Author Posted November 12 This ran through eBay.de, asking was 599- with a BIN of 899-Euro. Quite a bit of damage, but it’s real.
Stogieman Posted November 15 Author Posted November 15 Interesting bar from eBay.de, 1500-Euro! Not the greatest condition but very unusual combination
VtwinVince Posted Friday at 23:34 Posted Friday at 23:34 I like that one as well, but the price is stupid.
Stogieman Posted Saturday at 13:44 Author Posted Saturday at 13:44 A very hefty opening bid of 4200-Euros could have made you the owner of this one!
Stogieman Posted Monday at 22:32 Author Posted Monday at 22:32 Not an especially scarce medal but a very scarce case, maybe the third one I’ve seen. 257-Euro
