Two dates written in Serbian Cyrillic alphabet - Help decipher

    Recommended Posts

    Hello,

I need help with these two dates written in Serbian Cyrillic alphabet.

    1) 15 ...? 1939

I apologise for the poor quality of the photo, but I don't have a better one. I can try and post some better photos if that would help, let me know.

    2) 16 ...? 1939

    Thanks!

It looks like 15  November  and 16 November 1939 (year)

The year on the top picture is not very clear but looks like 1939 the last number could be anything however 193 are very clear

    Cheers

    Thank you very much Graf!

Here are some other photos of the first date, zoomed out a little bit. Perhaps they are clearer.

    "15 November 1939"

It is not visible that great, but it is the only option to fit to a Serbian word for a month name.

"in Belgrad"  - place of bestowal.
