    Question about numbers in Tuchrock

    Recommended Posts

    Hi Fellas,

This may sound dumb to those of you in the know, but I was recently fortunate enough to acquire my first tuchrock (Unteroffizier) and would like to know what all the numbers mean on the inside left on the lining. I'm sure one must be the size, but the others? Please fill me in if possible!! Here's the numbers, in order:

    39

    92

    69 60

    LBA 35

It also has the soldats' name: P.J. Zehringer - located on the lower rear of the lining.

    Thanks!

    ERIC

Come on guys, anyone out there that can steer me in the right direction concerning these numbers? Date of manufacture, size, etc??

LBA is the LW Acceptance stamping and the 35 is the year it was made/accepted. This congrats! This is the year the Luftwaffe came into existence. You have one of the first LW tunics made!!!!

Can you please post it!??!?!?! :jumping:
