Christophe Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 (edited) Hi Paul,I'm unfortunately not able to help for the translation, but I have taken the liberty to "work" on your pic to make it (I hope) easier to read...Hope this helps.Good luck!!Cheers.Ch. Edited June 17, 2006 by Christophe
Paul C Posted June 17, 2006 Author Posted June 17, 2006 I don't recognize any of the writting. There is a small plaque placed on the base of the memorial that has the family name and a date of 1988.
Paul C Posted June 18, 2006 Author Posted June 18, 2006 Can anyone read even a word or two on the above picture?
Christophe Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Someone used to read and decipher graves with text in Russian could certainly help us...Ch.

Dudeman Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Although of little help, the top two words are "Here is buried..." You really must supply a better picture.
Paul C Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 Thanks. Your translation of the first few word helps tremendously. This is not a memorial it is a grave stone.
