Steve K. Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I haven't added a Pilot's Badge to my collection in nearly 3 years, but I couldn't pass on this one. If only I could find a early Deumer, I would be closer to nirvana
Steve K. Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 One rivet looks to have been re-tightened, but that doesn't bother me!
ERIC Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Great example Steve! I would be hard pressed to pass this one up myself!ERICP.S.An early Deumer Pilot?? That's one tough nut! It took me years (literally!!) to find my one and only! [attachmentid=44732]
Scott Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Wow Steve - nice find! Congratulations (I like your's too Eric!)Scott
Steve K. Posted June 25, 2006 Author Posted June 25, 2006 Thanks for the comments fellas! You can't go wrong with Juncker. This one had the C catch wrapped around the pin. Nearly 99.9% of the time I would leave it alone but I had to free the pin. Thanks to my gentle metallurgy skills, it was no problem but not for the faint of heart.Eric, you're killing me!!
J Temple-West Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Nice one Steve.... Here are a couple from the same die.
Richard Gordon Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Ahhh! The Early Juncker and Deumer. Each beauties in their own right. You really have to be lucky to find to Deumers though!
