    The small versions (PINBACK, no more nasty clothes-destroying screws! :jumping: ) are certainly neater and more elegant than the "human pincushion" look so beloved since tsarist times.

    But why are they so EXPENSIVE? Surely the full-sized versions do not cost that to make, now that nothing is real gold or real silver or real enamel any more.

    All togetheer mounted medal bars would be nice.

    Аll official RF awards (including miniatures) are made in real silver, real gold and with hot enamel.

    It it known that back in the 70s there were talks about miniatures inside award department.

    Official letter that is dated November 17, 1970

    As we see the diameter of these miniatures is only 13 mm.

    Trial pieces?

    At least that is how they should look like ;)

    Today you can meet modern miniature of medal for victory over Germany.

    Why they decided to manufacture this medals and for whom - I don`t know ...
