Mijke Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 OK Don, here are the fronts and backs of the pins you requested.....and yes, Mr Keen Eyes, one of them is gold---I didn't take pics because it is exactly like the one I've posted.
Mijke Posted May 21, 2006 Author Posted May 21, 2006 and the hallmark, other than the Ges. Gesch. on the stickpin is an "F" above a "B" in a vertical rectangle. Someone out there will know who this is/was.
Mijke Posted May 21, 2006 Author Posted May 21, 2006 and here is the pin......I said that the F and B were in a rectangle---it just could be a BIG "H".......
Mijke Posted May 21, 2006 Author Posted May 21, 2006 and this pin was made my Hermann Aurich in Dresden.
Scowen Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Mike, As usual, very nice, thanks. Here's a picture of one in wear. Cheers Don
--dj--Joe Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Onward with a different maker mark. [attachmentid=54190][attachmentid=54189] Don, if and when you should desire to use this for your excellent section on differing maker marks I will give a go at providing a sharper image. I did see a gilt version at a show, however being out of funds I did not inquire. The dealer knew it was not often seen. What would be the value of a gilt example should it hapen to be there next year? Thanks for looking and commenting on the odds and ends I have posted. My sincere thanks to all who contribute. --dj--Joe
Scowen Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 (edited) A nice pin Joe.The ones we have here all show differencies between the makers. Not a badge that I've been able to "pin down" yet for my collection CheersDon Edited September 20, 2006 by Scowen
BURGERHAUS Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Gents Here is my stickpin version with Aurich mark. The same as Mike's pin-back. I have a pin-back with the same mark as Joe's stick-pin version. We have 2 makers of both setups. Progress.
BURGERHAUS Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 [attachmentid=54245][attachmentid=54246] Petz u Lorenz pinback. Same maker as Joe. Not much silver wash left on this one.
JNoble Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Here is my RLB Petz u Lorenz pinback badge.
--dj--Joe Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 (edited) There is a gilt version of this badge isn't there? --dj--Joe Edited August 26, 2022 by --dj--Joe

Here after many years is my Aurich version, & as Matthew says there were indeed gold grades as shown my Mike's worn version at the top of the thread. Another one that I have yet to track down.... Don
--dj--Joe Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Matthew and Don, Thank you both for your prompt reply. --dj--Joe
