GreyC
Hi, here a little exotic photo by studio Sebah from the 1860s. Can anybody provide any details to uniform weapon etc? It´s absolutely off topic to my usual collecting. I bought it because the studio was quite famous. Thank you, GreyC
coldstream
Nice image, not my field of expertise at all but you should find the answer to identification on this site https://www.ottoman-uniforms.com/1860-till-1876-ottoman-army-uniforms/ Regards Simon

Bayern
The man in the photo wears a officer type jacket but carries a rifle and bayonet .and the percussion carbine , dont matches much with the bayonet .other strange item is the turban ,dark coloured . enfin , it appears to be a studied exotic portrait .
