Tradition was something my father felt he was robbed of. My Grandfather was a patriotic man and so was my dad. Standards, traditions and rules were welcomed. A cutting I rediscovered at my mums a couple of years ago - I think it's from the sixties, posted to my Nan by relatives in Israel. I'm late to the internet and only googled hakoah 2 years ago! Most expensive one above is the machine gunner cap badge for which I paid 8.50..... I often take a gamble with unknown badges because (to borrow your phrase) my eye is caught by one or two. Even if I recognise them it has to be on the cheap because of all the copies I do like to find job lots and go through them. i buy an awful lot of stuff like this (below cost 8quid).... because I spot a couple of pretties... tony Ps- diddly is a word sadly underused....
